Projects

Dutch Flower Foundation
Dutch Flower Foundation was founded in 1999 with the aim of promoting and improving the living standards, care and wellbeing of people in need. Destitute people can be found in developing countries but also in the Netherlands.

Project criteria

  • concrete projects (= not just money made availabe) -> targeted aid!
  • organisations with a low overhead (= volunteer initiative, no large foundations) so that financial aid ends up directly at the project.
  • promoting/improving the living standards/care/well being of fellow human beings.
  • projects that serve children -> investing in the future!
  • projects with a broad base -> aid to groups instead of individuals.
  • national = areas in Westland of Aalsmeer (Netherlands) or regions with a direct, demonstrable involvement of DFG staff.
  • international = areas (countries) where DFG is active and present. Focus on import regions with low living standards.
